How to reach Salento

On 23 of april the new airport has opened; it is well connected by public transport and taxi. In order to improve this territory, Apulian Chambre of commerce, Lecce province and Lecce municipality have realised the New Airport City Terminal.

The second Salentine railway was born on the 1 of July 1931, it represents the unic mix between Salentine Railways Anonymous Society (Lecce-Francavilla, Novoli- Nardò, Nardò-Tricase-Maglie, Casarano-Gallipoli, Francavilla-Rocorotondo, Taranto-Martina F.) and another Society that covers Bari-Locorotondo, Mungivacca- Casamassima- Putignano) and the third Italian Railways with Lecce-Zollino- Maglie- Otranto, Zollino-Gallipoli).
